Salman Khan's game show 10 Ka Dum has had quite a few fun episodes and the appearances of a number of movie stars and cricketers.

I got a chance to see the action up close when I went on the sets last weekend. I have to add here that the show is definitely much better on television than it is in the studio.

For starters, the shoot was scheduled to start at 5pm. But for unexplained reasons, it finally started at 8:30 pm.

The contestant for this episode was Anita Kumari, from Delhi

It was quite a melodramatic episode, as the shoot started with Anita in tears. Apparently, the young lady was missing her husband and child, as she had to stay back in Mumbai for two days.

"I have never lived away from my husband even for a day," Anita explained to Salman.

A deeply moved Salman immediately called her husband and made the couple talk to each other.

Anita was accompanied by her brother, who helped her during the game.

Salman, being the star that he is, directly started the shoot without any mock rehearsals.

The questions for Anita included: what percentage of Indians think Mumbai is a land of dreams? Think desi ghee is nutritious to health? Think there are more chances of getting marriage proposals while attending another wedding?

Anita gamely answered the questions before quitting the game. She won Rs 10 lakhs on the show.

After Anita left, the game continued with new contestants, Poonam Sharma and Vipula Saine.

Vipula won the knock-out round, and proceeded to play the game with Salman -- but not before Poonam's family gave the star a couple of gifts, which included a Maine Pyar Kiya cap he had won for the film and a handmade pigeon.

They then danced to a couple of songs before finally leaving the stage.
