Keep the change - Salman is too generous

We have yet another story of Salman Khan's impulsive generosity. Sallu is known to be generous, especially with those who help him out.

The story goes that recently the actor was cycling down to his sets like he always does, while his car followed him to the studio. That's when he suddenly felt like taking a puff.

A source says, "While he was on his way to the sets, he suddenly felt like smoking and so he stopped at a paan shop to buy a pack of cigarettes . But Salman wasn't carrying any cash. So, he requested the shopkeeper to give him the pack of cigarettes for which he promised to pay on his way back. But as the shopkeeper failed to recognise the star, he refused to give him the cigarettes because he wasn't too sure if he would get his money back."

"Disheartened , Salman went to another shop. He asked the next shopkeeper if he could pay up later. And this time the man obliged saying it was okay if Salman paid later ," says a source.

Salman was truly grateful about this. And in true Sallu style, he decided to return the favour. "On his way back, Salman stopped at the same paan shop and handed over an entire bundle of Rs 50 notes to the shopkeeper. The shocked shopkeeper said that the packet didn't cost that much. But, Salman insisted that he keep the money as he had given him the cigarettes on trust at a time when he had no money to pay," says the source.
