The film will be directed by debutante Prem Soni, who was a creative director with Star India earlier. While Khan was unavailable for comment, sources say that Sohail's elder brother, Salman Khan along with Govinda will play the male leads.

Preity Zinta or Katrina Kaif are being considered to play the character of Mrs Khanna. The film will mount the sets in July 2007, after the release of Partner, directed by David Dhawan. Partner too stars Salman and Govinda in lead roles.

Partner is slated for a 8 July 2007 release worldwide. Khan's last production venture, Fight Club: Members Only which released last year did not fare well at the box office. His other releases include Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, Lucky: No Time For Love, I-Proud To Be An Indian, Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, Hello Brother and Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya.
