On Wednesday the shooting of Salman Khan starrer Veer was cancelled at the 11th hour. Reason? The actor complained about a severe stomach ache and was throwing up. “That’s very unlike Salman,” says our man. “He was all set to begin his workout when he complained of stomach ache. He was immediately rushed to a doctor who confirmed that it was food poisoning.”

However, the star was in no mood to call off the shooting of Veer . The shooting of the film has been on for some time now and Salman didn’t want the schedule to go awry because of him. “But his health just didn’t allow him enough strength. His brother Sohail took a call and decided to cancel the shooting”, disclosed our informer.

Salman was also scheduled to attend co-star cum friend Deepshikha’s birthday party. “He sent me a message saying that he was unwell and hence can’t make it for the party. He even said that the shooting of Veer was called off because of that,” confirms Deepshikha.

Here’s wishing the man a speedy recovery.
