According to rumours, Shirish Kunder was asked to leave Sajid Nadiawala’s Kick because his recent film, the Akshay Kumar- Sonakshi Sinha starer, Joker, was not a great hit at the box office.
However, Superstar Salman Khan, rubbishes these rumours by tweeting that, Shirish left the film himself, as he is busy working on something else.
The rumours started off, when Kunder tweeted, just as day after his movie, Joker’s release, saying, “Sajid Nadiadwala will be directing Kick. He had originally envisioned the project and I feel he is the best person to bring it to life.”
Kick which was intiailly to be directed by Shirish Kunder, will now be directed and produced by Sajid Nadiawala under his own banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
